First、Select the AP installation position

1.Position as high as possible

Wireless communication signals are transmitted in a straight line. When installing wireless AP, install it as high as possible to reduce the mobile or fixed obstacles between the wireless terminal and AP, so as to ensure that the signal coverage of wireless AP is large enough, and the overall communication performance of the wireless network will be improved.

2.Small overlap of regions

When building a wireless roaming network, in order to ensure that the wireless network has enough bandwidth, a small amount of cross coverage of the respective wireless signal coverage area generated by each wireless AP is needed to ensure that each wireless subnet can be connected. The coverage of the overlapping part should not be too large, otherwise it may cause wireless interference in addition to increasing the engineering cost.

3.Placed in the center of the connected terminal

Since the signal coverage area of wireless AP is circular, to ensure that each connected wireless terminal can effectively receive communication signals, the wireless AP should be placed in the center of the connected terminal, so that each terminal can be well connected to the wireless network.

Second、 Control the number of access workstations

In order to ensure that the communication speed of the whole wireless network is not affected, we must control the number of wireless workstations to ensure that each workstation can obtain the Internet bandwidth.

Third、Eliminate external distractions

Some electronic devices in the same frequency band as wireless AP will affect the signal of wireless AP, which should be noted, including microwave ovens, anti-theft facilities, and other high-power electronic equipment.

Fourth、 Understand various technical parameters

The location must meet construction requirements and technical parameters for the coverage radius of wireless aps must be known. Wireless aps must be high temperature and moisture resistant, and support PoE power supply. They are centrally managed by an AC controller. To ensure that the Internet access speed is always high, the distance between the wireless AP and the terminal must be well controlled. If necessary, you can add a wireless AP or add an external antenna to extend the coverage.
